Currently, all rentals are on a full-day basis. The operating hours are from 8am to 11:30pm. All set-up, deliveries and clean-up must be done within this time frame, unless previously arranged with Ironworks Events. *Overtime will be billed at $70 per hour to the Security Deposit.
Rental of The Courtyard space is only available in conjunction with rental of either the Forge & Fire Room, The Bellows Lounge, or both. This is due to washroom access. For large Courtyard Events, Portable washrooms can be arranged through Additional Services.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Ironworks Events provides event space for the Invited Guests of: Private groups or Commercial organizations

POLICY STATEMENT AND GENERAL GUIDELINES
Event room facilities are available to groups and organizations in accordance with this policy as established by Ironworks Events.
Use of the Event space by any group or organization does not constitute an endorsement by Ironworks Events of the group's policies or beliefs. Ironworks Events will not knowingly permit any individual or groups to use its facilities in contravention of the Criminal Code of Canada
.
Groups using the facilities may not limit attendance on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability as defined by the Constitution Act, Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom, 1982. All applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal legislation and regulations, including the Human Rights Code of Ontario, must be observed at all times.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
Applicants for event space rentals must be 18 years of age or older.
Any Event space booking will not be confirmed until a deposit of no less than 50% of fees are received. The remaining fees (including a $500 security deposit) must be paid no later than ten (10) business days prior to the Event date.
Renters are responsible for ensuring that the allowable seating capacity of the room is not exceeded.
Renters who use the facilities are responsible for any damages incurred. They will be required to indemnify Ironworks Events against any and all claims which may arise out of or by reason of granting the use of these facilities.
CANCELLATIONS
There are no refunds for the 50% deposit which is required upon booking. If paid in full, a refund of 50% will be refunded if the cancellation is made at least ten (10) business days before the booking date. Cancellations made within ten (10) business days of the booking will be non-refundable.
Should there be a closure due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or power outage, all fees will be refunded in full. Ironworks Events assumes no responsibility for any other costs incurred by the renter.
EQUIPMENT
All equipment owned by Ironworks Events must be returned in good condition or the renter will be held responsible for the cost of repair and/or replacement.
All equipment brought in by the renter is subject to the prior approval of Ironworks Events. The use of candles or open flames or incense is not permitted within the Event spaces without the permission of the Ironworks representative on site.
Set-up of tables, chairs, and equipment is not the responsibility of Ironworks Events. Renters should allow sufficient time for the set-up of the room as part of the booking. It is the responsibility of those using the facility to leave the venue in the same condition as found. Storage cannot be provided. Extra clean-up will be billed to the security deposit at $70 per hour.
Ironworks Events accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen articles.
ALCOHOL / LIQUOR LICENCING
If requested by the renter (and with sufficient notice) Ironworks Events can acquire this coverage for your event. Alcoholic beverages may not be dispensed or consumed on the premises unless a Liquor License has been purchased, or that if a caterer is hired, that they have the necessary Liquor Licensing required. Ironworks Events reserves the right to ask for a copy of the License from the renter.

ADVERTISING & SIGNAGE
All Events at Ironworks Events are deemed as Private functions. Event promotion is required to be made by means which are a personal invitation to the guest (eg direct: Email, posted mail etc...) Public advertising in the form of: signs, posters, handbills, social media, radio or television are not permitted.
Advertising of meetings or events taking place at Ironworks Events must not imply endorsement by Ironworks Events of the content of the program or event.
GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE
All renters are required to carry General Liability Insurance, or that if a caterer is hired that they have the necessary Insurance coverage. This coverage is for the protection of the facility renter, Ironworks Events and all those participating in the use of the facility during the rental. If requested by the renter (and with sufficient notice) Ironworks Events can acquire this coverage for your event.

Those renting space from Ironworks Events will be required to produce a liability insurance certificate in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence, including full participant coverage and naming Ironworks Events as additional insured.
Renters, or the caterer who has been hired, must produce the required insurance certificate and liquor licenses THREE WEEKS (3) prior to the event date..
A signed copy of this form, which will include; Name of Person/Organization/Company,
Name of Person Booking, Signature, Date of Event, Date Signed, (PLUS DEPOSIT) will be required upon booking to acknowledge that you have read and understand the policies, terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
